Learn the fundamentals of Nature Photography with hands on practical lessons.

Stay

Kidventure offers every camper a beautiful stay in the heart of nature. Wake up to the sound of waves and birdsong, play in natural streams, hike amongst tall jungle trees and rejoice under the stars.

Each of our eco-friendly bamboo huts has 24 hours electricity with lights, fans and mosquito-repellent fixtures; and we provide clean, comfortable mattresses with pillows and bed-linen to each camper. All cabins have attached bathrooms with western-style toilets.

Care

The Kidventure Campsite is situated in a secure campus with plenty of safe areas to explore. Campers will be under supervision at all times, even during free-play. We always maintain a 1:10 Councillor : Camper ratio, and have staff on-site to cater to our campers' needs.

We have a well-stocked medical first-aid kit on campus for minor sniffles, bumps and scrapes. We also have a doctor on-call, day or night, in the unlikely event that his services are required.

Our well-trained cooks create fresh, healthy, delicious meals and snacks for our hungry campers. We provide all three meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts as well as a mid-morning snack and an evening snack. We cater to vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. (Non-vegetarian meals are served separately. We only serve poultry products and fish, no beef or pork is served at camp.) We also serve vegan food (vegetarian, non-dairy) and gluten-free food on prior intimation.

Mornings at camp are dedicated to exploring and discovering the campsite and learning about nature.

Afternoons at camp are spent creatively as we sit in the shade of coconut palms and put our imaginations to good use! Our afternoon creative workshops hone the creative talents of all our campers and help them discover new skills.

We take campers along safe nature trails where they participate in birdwatching, observation of aquatic life, plant identification and basic entomology. Campers thus get a unique, hands-on opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna in our environment as well as the habitats of different living things around them.

We have several on-campus daytime activities which include games and competitions to reinforce leadership and teambuilding among campers as well as activities to promote physical fitness, creative problem-solving and different thinking. Special, surprise activities during the day make camp life extra fun and exciting.

Science and astronomy play a big part in Kidventure camp life. We conduct crazy, exciting science experiments every day and end each evening observing the sky through a powerful telescope.

Evenings at camp are used constructively with storytelling and team games with much fun and laughter under the starry sky.

Our final night campfire is a special event where campers gather around the campfire for a final dinner and dance before toasting marshmallows over the flames and participating in impromptu entertainment programmes. Each camper then sends up a sky lantern inscribed with their wish at the end of the day.
